All Custom and Automotive Performance Work requires a 50% deposit of the total labor estimate. Any Fabrication Work must pay for Materials in full before any work begins. Customers are encouraged to bring or ship their own Performance Parts & Fluids, or may opt for our in-house Fluid services. Customers may request a Consultation to discuss custom work, performance goals, or questions about component compatibility. Our Consultation Appointment Fee is a flat rate of $75, is due at the time of your Consultation, and will be deducted from your final balance should you choose to have the work discussed at said consultation completed.
Any labor or parts that you elect to REMOVE from your estimate during the process of customization must be discussed with and approved by your mechanic and must be agreed to by both parties BEFORE the labor on that item has commenced and the necessary parts have been ordered (if parts are being supplied by Red Rooster Hot Rods). An Addendum will be written up for you to sign affirming that the item will be removed from your final invoice.
Any labor or parts that you elect to ADD to your estimate during the process, must be discussed with and approved by your mechanic and must be agreed to by both parties. An additional estimate, separate from your original estimate, will be written detailing all the work to be added. A 50% deposit will be required for new estimates added to your project.
Large custom jobs will often be divided out into Phases. Each Phase will require a separate Consultation Appointment (billed at $75 upfront and applied to final balance once work is completed) and each will have a Separate Estimate. The full balance of each Phase must be paid before a Consultation Appointment will be scheduled for the following phase.
By modifying your vehicle, you understand that certain modifications may render your vehicle ILLEGAL for operation on public roads and highways, especially if exhaust or emission systems are modified. Some modifications may cause unexpected accelerating power and change handling characteristics. Customers are encouraged to take time to familiarize themselves with these changes or may opt to do some testing at a closed environment track or course.
We DO NOT currently offer Dyno Tuning. All tunes are baseline tunes and customers must seek a Dyno Tuner BEFORE trying to push any modified vehicle to its limits, especially in forced induction applications.
Diagnostic Fees start at $125 and will not be applied to the final balance of any repairs.
If your vehicle arrives at our shop with less than ¼ tank of gas, we will add 5 gallons to your tank at cost plus $20 service fee. We cannot work on a car without fuel to make it run.
Red Rooster Hot Rods will always do its best to acquire high-quality parts that are reasonably priced. Occasionally, a customer may wish to provide their own parts. Red Rooster Hot Rods cannot guarantee the quality of customer-acquired parts or that they will be the correct ones for the vehicle or repair in question. Red Rooster Hot Rods reserves the right to refuse to use any parts that they believe to be unsafe.
Customers requesting repair or maintenance work of any kind acknowledge that Red Rooster Hot Rods is not a certified parts retailer and cannot provide a warranty on parts used to repair or maintain any vehicle. Red Rooster Hot Rods will never knowingly use a part that they believe to be defective or sub-par in any way. Our customers’ safety is our number one priority. If, after a vehicle has left our shop, a part appears to be defective, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to contact the manufacturer of said part to determine if a replacement or refund is warranted or available.
